Pricing questions, answered.

The questions buyers raise at this price point — answered straight, with governed autonomous testing, rate-locked pricing, and no-surprise-fees positioning across the tiers.

Do I need a developer to set Variantix up?
No. Variantix automates variant generation, traffic splitting, significance monitoring, and reporting, while rollout governance keeps the final live decision in your control. Drop in the snippet, pick a goal, and the AI runs; then accept, hold, deny/prevent, or roll back a candidate from the experiment workflow. If your stack is unusual, our team will help on Mid-Market and above; see the compare with your current stack page for details.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There's no cancellation fee or clawback on the rate you signed up at. Monthly plans stop at the next billing date; annual plans are prepaid for the year and remain active through the paid term. Cancel from your dashboard in two clicks — your rate is locked through your first contract term.
What happens to my running experiments if I cancel?
Any experiment in flight is paused cleanly: visitors stop bucketing, the data Variantix collected stays accessible for read-out, and the full results CSV is yours to export. Winners you already deployed keep running on your site (Variantix isn't a proxy in the request path on those pages). Nothing gets deleted for at least the first 30-day window after you cancel — and we recommend running for ~1 month before concluding — so if you resubscribe, the experiment picks up right where it left off.
Does Variantix actually auto-deploy winners?
Variantix can automate the recommendation and, when the selected policy is automatic and the readiness gate passes, prepare the winner for rollout. Every tier keeps explicit accept, hold, deny/prevent, and rollback controls: a winner can remain pending or held, be denied before deployment, or be rolled back to the control. Read the full autonomy comparison.
Is there a free trial?
Not a timed trial — we don't think a 14-day clock tests anything meaningful, which is why we recommend a ~1 month floor instead. Every plan is a flat rate with no setup fee, so the cheapest true test is one month on Small Business at $199. Not sure if that's the right tier? The sample-size calculator will tell you in 30 seconds based on your traffic and the lift you're chasing.
How does billing work?
Choose recurring monthly billing or prepay annually through Stripe — annual plans are priced at ten months, so you get two months free (16.7% savings). Credit card or ACH, no invoice minimums, and your rate is locked through your first contract term. Receipts and invoice history live in your dashboard.
Do any tiers carry a surcharge on top of the monthly price?
Yes — but only on four of the five tiers, and only when your experiment counts as top-spec. Moderate, Mid-Market, Growth, and Enterprise each carry a 10–30% specialty surcharge that our team applies manually after walking you through the math (think: a flagship experiment on a high-traffic page). Small Business is never surcharged under any circumstance — the 10–30% band does not apply to it. On Moderate the surcharge is rare; on Mid-Market and above it shows up on flagship engagements only. The base monthly price you see on this page is unchanged either way; the surcharge is layered on top only when it kicks in. Run the sample-size calculator to check whether your traffic ever needs the surcharge band at all — most plans never do.
Does Variantix support multivariate testing (MVT)?
Yes, on every paid tier — Small Business, Moderate, Mid-Market, Growth, and Enterprise all support multivariate testing out of the box. Spin up to 8 variants per experiment (the MVT cap), combine A/B and MVT in the same workspace, and keep the same governance controls: automatic rollout is only policy-controlled, while accept, hold, deny/prevent, and rollback remain available for every winner. see the autonomy comparison.
Which billing currencies and countries are supported?
Prices on this page are listed in USD and that is the base currency your invoice is denominated in. Stripe handles the checkout, so buyers in the major geos can settle in their own local currency — USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, and JPY are all supported out of the box, with FX conversion handled by Stripe at checkout time. The monthly or annual amount you select is the amount billed in USD; your bank may add a small FX margin on top, depending on your card. Run the sample-size calculator to estimate the local-currency total for your tier and traffic — if your country isn't covered, reply to your welcome email and our team will confirm whether Stripe supports settle in your region.
